the world's a better place when it's upside down

It's Good Friday, meaning a day off work. Lovely!
As I've been exhausted lately, I decided a lay in and a little baking would be sufficient for today.
Of course, usually I hate to be stuck at home all day.
However, despite a few hiccups, baking was nice.
I made chocolate chip cupcakes with melted chocolate on top and some vanilla biscuits.
Unfortunately, the biscuits aren't particularly attractive but they taste pretty good.
The cakes are delicious!
Sadly, I have to work tomorrow and I expect it to be ridiculously busy.
For some reason which is far beyond me, people seem to be staying in this awful town over Easter.
So, the shop will be filled with delightful children and the sound of eloquent Northern accents..
God, help me!
